Always brilliant thoughts and brilliant writing from you, with the added bonus of a word that’s been rattling inside my scattershot brain for the past year and a half - solidarity. This old word feels like a key to something important, essential even, perhaps devastating in the best way. We know what this word-key means, and how it’s been used so far, but I feel there’s something else there, something revolutionary, just waiting to be unlocked. Thanks very much, and so interesting about 'solidarity' - I've also been thinking a lot recently about that word. I think I stopped using it for a while because it wasn't fashionable or it had seemed not to have much meaning, but lately I've been realising that it's a classic for a reason and captures something that no other word can.
